The Video Preview module in the Livescale Control Room is a way for you to see the video broadcast coming in from your selected streaming app. It runs indefinitely as long as it is receiving a video feed. If no video feed is being received, the video preview is a black screen by default.
When planning to go live, you should make sure to start the video preview at least 15 minutes before going live. This will allow you to account for any last minute details and to test your stream health prior to going live.
Warning: If no feed is received for 15 minutes, the video preview will automatically close and you will have to reconnect your streaming app.
